Microsoft announced the release of Update 2. It seems that Microsoft has finally admitted that there were few limitations in the product regarding 64bit clients and with update 2 they have tried to get them fixed. You may download the update 2 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9dcccebc-accb-4229-901a-792cc66791de which also describes the changes in update 2.
Being in support we have to face customer issues and most common issue with UAG was SSL Application tunneling not supported on 64bit client machines. Luckily, with update 2 we can now have that configured on Windows versions from XP to Windows 7. Forefront UAG SP1 is also due for release around end of this year. SP1 will be heavily focused on enhancing the DirectAccess capabilities. But it's good to see that Microsoft has addressed these priority issues before releasing the SP1.
Cheers !!
